​Equally at home in the recording studio, Zahra spends much of her career working for film, TV and record producers at major London studios such as Abbey Road, AIR and RAK. She has recorded for a multitude of commerical artists primarily as part of Wired Strings.

Recent film soundtracks include -  Wuthering Heights, Hamnet, Bugonia, A House of Dynamite, H is for Hawk, Nosferatu, All Quiet on the Western Front, Conclave, Saltburn, Goodbye June, Lady Chatterley's Lover, Thunderbolts, Deadpool and Wolverine, The Crow, Those about to Die, The Whale, I am What I am, MUFASA, Matrix Ressurations, Cyrano, The Wonder, Postcard from Earth, Chevalier, Phantom Thread, Alien Covenant.

 

Notable artists include - Olivia Dean, Max Richter, Sam Smith, Noel Gallagher, Celine Dion, Raye, Jay-Z, Santan Dave, Kanye West, Self Esteem, Keaton Henson, Camilla Cabelo, Sigma, Sam Fender, The National, Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Lighthouse Family, Tom Grennan, Little Simz, Bastille, The Script, Shed Seven, Emeli Sande, Rita Ora, Paloma Faith and Adele. She has performed live at the Royal Albert Hall with Stereophonics, Michael Kiwanuka, Goldfrapp, Boy George and Bjork with Aurora Orchestra.
